Q. I want to make one copy of a cartoon to send to my friend, etc. Do I need permission to do that?
A. No. If the cartoon you send is the same cartoon that originally appeared, is not alteredin any way, and is for personal use only, is not sold or distributed outside of your own personal context, you do not have to get permission.
