Lefty Tinkerman (Leftius tinkerensis)

Lefty is a fourth generation farmer in Kudzuville who is half redneck and half mad scientist. He owns a farm outside town where he experiments with the kinds of things most people would leave alone. If it's got DNA, you can bet Lefty will find a way to extrapolate it, quantify it, splice it, or make supper out of it. But hIs genetically engineered efforts can (and do) often result in unexpected consequences. Who else could splice a few genes together and come up with a plant that is both edible and also makes a great axel grease?? Lefty can.

Lefty lives alone except for his prize hunting dawg "Daisy," a bloodhound who, while looking like a pile of dead skin to everyone else, has lightning reflexes so fast no one can see her when she moves, although they can see the results of her moving. If that makes any sense.
